MSNBC keeps showing these banners on their main page of black voters reacting to the results of the election.  Clearly, Obama was able to cut through all races and major demographics to win this thing.  As disturbing as this is (although not surprising), the photograph of the woman below made me laugh.  I can’t tell whether she is an Obama supporter, who just found out her candidate won, or a McCain supporter, who just found the other guy won.  ; )

Good news: Hearing reports from all over the greater TampaBay area. Sounds like lines have been reasonable!

My mailed-in vote arrived safe and sound. Did yours? Last chance to call your supervisor of elections.

Under 250k = tax cut. Over 250k = rollback to ’90s level taxes.  You remember the ’90s, right? Vote for change.

self-portrait experiment

The following photographs were shot while walking by a clothing store.  I was attempting to capture my reflection superimposed on the mannequins.  It appears to have worked.  The ones below came out especially interesting.

This one is like that drawing of the young woman, I mean the old woman, I mean the young woman.  You can either look through the window or at the reflection.  A good long stare might meld them together.  I like the way my camera became an extension of my arm and the tree an extension of my head.

This one cracked me up.  Blending the two is not difficult here.  I am clearly wearing a skirt.  If you can rip your eyes away from my geek physique you can transfer the skirt to its rightful owner.

There is a lot going on here.  Freud would say most of it is about my childhood (and my mother).  I’ll let you figure out the details. ; )
