Gigapan image from inauguration

Last week I heard about this high res image taken on inauguration day on Slate’s Political Gabfest. I’ve been meaning to search for it but a relative forwarded a link to me (thanks CO). It was made using a robotic device by a company called Gigapan Systems. They have a website for people to share their Gigapan images at gigapan.org. If you go to that site it is very easy to see the image I am referring to. For some reason, though, it is very slow unless you use the full-screen version. One cool thing about viewing it on the site is being able to see all of the hilarious stuff people found. They mark the image and then add a short comment. See above for my take.
