Another Attempt at UT from Balcony
EDIT: This photograph is awful. Ashamed I even posted it. Will do better in the future. Promise. ;)
Photographer’s block has a real grip on me with this UT thing. From my balcony, the campus and park look very “picturesque” but I can’t seem to capture the same feeling in an image. Here is another attempt. Click on it for a larger version. It ended up with this stylized color and vignette primarily to cover up its flaws.
One problem is that I’m trying to capture the entire width using a short focal length. Maybe I’ll focus in on the main buildings next time. Another problem is the angle of view. I might just go down to the 8th floor deck and shoot from there instead.
