Two Views

These were shot a few nights ago as we were winding down in our living room. I thought it would be interesting to make the photographs appear very similar in order to highlight the differences between mother and daughter. In post I changed the compositions and tones. I also added a gradient to the top of each to unify them further. When I look at these images my mind goes to places of warmth, affection, and appreciation. That is to say, there is no way for me to see them objectively. What do you see?
