Tampa Museum of Art Donor Gala Fireworks
I was napping on the couch tonight while my wife was reading a bedtime story to our two year old daughter. All of a sudden we heard explosions that seemed very close to the building. By the time I got outside, my wife and daughter were already on our bedroom balcony (wrapped in a warm blanket) watching fireworks that seemed to be coming from the Hillsborough river between UT and Curtis Hixon Park. The show was great, but I had no idea what they were for. I jumped on twitter to do a search and was surprised to see a local photographer I follow was posting about it. Thanks @toycameraplay for directing me to @rspoto‘s live tweeting of the Tampa Museum of Art Donor Gala. I have to admit severe envy seeing those interior pics. Guess I should have donated, eh?
